The photo shows the tablet with nearly identical thick bezels as the previous Tab S11 model. The front camera remains housed within the bezel. ## Innovation expectations unmet The leak suggests the Tab S12 Plus lacks expected design improvements like a punch-hole camera or thinner bezels. This indicates Samsung may continue with its current tablet design language for the new series. ## Product launch timeline The certification process suggests the Galaxy Tab S12 series will launch in late 2026, likely in September following previous models. Model numbers were also spotted in India's BIS database, another key certification milestone. ## No battery change for Ultra model Reports claim the Tab S12 Ultra will retain the 11,600mAh battery capacity and 45W fast charging support. It's expected to feature a 14.6-inch display and Android 17. ## Potential camera design change One UI 9 test software animations showed a punch-hole camera design replacing the notch. However, it remains unclear which models will receive this change and when it might be implemented. ## Samsung's tablet strategy The leaks suggest Samsung is following an incremental update strategy for its tablet series. While consumers expect more radical design changes, the company appears focused on maintaining the current form factor with minor improvements. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.androidcentral.com/tablets/samsung-galaxy-tab/galaxy-tab-s12-plus-familiar-leaked-live-image-not-sure-thats-a-good-thing — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
