When fully collapsed, the device measures 1.73 inches in thickness and weighs 1.29 pounds. This integrated approach allows users to adjust projection angles on flat surfaces like nightstands without requiring additional bulky support accessories. ## Visual and Technical Specs This projector provides native 1080p Full HD resolution, supported by autofocus and four-point keystone correction for image alignment. It is rated at 200 ANSI lumens, making it most effective in dark environments. The device is designed to project images between 60 and 80 inches, requiring users to manage ambient light for optimal clarity. ## Connectivity and Gaming The unit includes a USB-C video input that supports direct connections from compatible devices, including the Nintendo Switch, without needing a standard dock. Users must provide a power adapter rated at 65W or higher via the USB-C PD port. This streamlined setup reduces the number of components required for mobile gaming sessions. ## Audio and Battery Life Equipped with a 38Wh battery, the projector offers up to 150 minutes of runtime in ECO mode, though actual performance varies based on settings. For private listening, the device supports simultaneous audio output to two Bluetooth headphones. Built-in stereo speakers are also available for situations where external audio hardware is not required. ## Basquiat Special Edition The Jean-Michel Basquiat Special Edition Bundle differentiates itself through custom shells featuring artwork like Pez Dispenser and Untitled (1985). These designs contrast with the device's standard geometry, targeting users who prioritize expressive aesthetics. The bundle includes a matching carrying case, lens-cleaning cloth, and the Z-Stand mounting suite for a complete, coordinated gift package. ## Standard Model Aesthetics The standard Aurzen ZIP Pro model emphasizes a technical aesthetic with a dark finish, visible vents, and orange accents. It appeals to users who prefer understated, functional design over artistic themes. The folding mechanism itself serves as a visual focal point on a desk, highlighting the device's deliberate engineering and compact, portable nature. ## Pricing and Availability The standard Aurzen ZIP Pro is currently priced at $629.99, while the Jean-Michel Basquiat Special Edition Bundle retails for $679.99. Both versions are positioned as holiday gift options, offering distinct visual identities for the same core projection hardware. The bundle provides added value through its exclusive accessories and thematic packaging for collectors. ## Market Positioning Analysis By integrating art into consumer electronics, Aurzen targets users who view gadgets as personal style statements rather than just tools. The ability to fold the device away makes it suitable for multi-purpose spaces like bedrooms or workspaces. This design choice addresses the common consumer desire for high-performance technology that remains unobtrusive when inactive. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.yankodesign.com/2026/11/04/aurzen-zip-pro-puts-a-foldable-projector-and-basquiat-art-on-your-holiday-gift-list/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=aurzen-zip-pro-puts-a-foldable-projector-and-basquiat-art-on-your-holiday-gift-list — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
