These updates are currently restricted to users enrolled in the official beta testing programs. The release marks the transition from the previous stable version, 27.2, as the company begins its final testing phase. ## Safari Browser Interface Updates The latest beta versions introduce significant changes to the Safari browsing experience on both iOS and MacOS. Users can now utilize a new vertical tab option for better navigation. Additionally, Apple has integrated an automatic dark mode feature, allowing the browser to adjust its visual theme dynamically based on system settings. ## iPhone Duo Reachability Features The iPhone Duo model receives a specific Reachability enhancement in this build. This feature pulls screen content to the side, facilitating easier one-handed interaction for users. This ergonomic adjustment aims to improve usability on larger display formats, reflecting Apple's ongoing focus on hardware-software integration within their mobile device ecosystem and interface design. ## Standby Mode and Siri Enhancements iOS 27.3 brings expanded functionality to the Standby Mode, introducing new clock features and customization options for all compatible iPhones. Siri also receives functional updates to improve user interaction. These changes are part of a broader effort to refine the core user experience across the entire iPhone product line during this cycle. ## Health App Redesign Initiatives The Health app undergoes a comprehensive redesign in the iOS 27.3 beta. While specific UI changes are not detailed, the update signals a shift in how health data is presented to users. This redesign likely aims to streamline navigation and improve the visibility of critical metrics within the native Apple health ecosystem. ## Apple Intelligence China Expansion A major highlight of this beta release is the inclusion of Apple Intelligence for users in China. This expansion indicates Apple's strategic push to bring its AI-driven features to more international markets. Participants in the beta program can now test these capabilities as part of the broader system software update package. ## Accessing Beta Software Builds Registered testers can access the new builds directly through their device settings. iPhone and iPad users should navigate to Settings, General, and Software Update. Mac users must access System Settings, General, and Software Update to initiate the download. These steps remain consistent with Apple's standard procedure for managing beta software distribution. ## Public Release Timeline Expectations Apple typically conducts multiple beta iterations before finalizing software for the general public. The company has previously confirmed that the stable release of iOS 27.3 is scheduled for December. Until then, the current 27.2 versions remain the official stable software for all users not participating in the ongoing beta testing program. ## Sources covering this story - https://osxdaily.com/2026/11/03/first-betas-of-ios-27-3-macos-27-3-available-for-testing/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
