It can simultaneously charge multiple devices like laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Currently available on Amazon at $95 after a 37% discount. This marks the lowest price ever recorded for this model. ## High Power Capacity Despite its compact size, the station delivers a total of 250W across all ports. The main USB-C port alone outputs 140W, charging laptops at wall adapter speeds. According to Anker, this port can charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in just 25 minutes. ## Port Variety and Distribution Features 4 USB-C ports on the front and 2 USB-A ports on the side. The smart control dial allows dynamic power distribution based on immediate needs. A built-in 2.26-inch LCD display shows real-time power usage for each port. Power distribution changes when all ports are in use. ## Per-Port Power Limits When all ports are active, the leftmost C-port delivers 100W, other USB-C ports provide 45W, and USB-A ports max out at 15W. This means charging speeds may decrease during multi-device use. However, single-device charging achieves maximum performance. ## Smart Power Management The control dial lets users prioritize which device charges first. This feature proves particularly useful for devices needing urgent charging. The LCD display provides real-time power consumption data for easier energy management. ## Design and Usability With its small footprint, the station saves desk space and eliminates messy adapters. Charging all devices from a single hub prevents cable clutter. The vertical design ensures easy access to all ports. ## Price-Performance Comparison At $95, it stands out against competitors with similar features. Models offering 140W laptop charging typically cost more. Anker's product provides a cost-effective solution for users with high power needs. ## Ideal for Multi-Device Users Many users today need to charge multiple devices simultaneously. This station appeals to a wide range from home office users to digital content creators. The record price drop makes it even more attractive. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.macworld.com/article/3222838/ankers-powerhouse-250w-desktop-charger-just-hit-a-new-record-low.html — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
