This feature provides convenience, especially in cases of forgotten passwords. Users can verify their identity with a pre-recorded selfie video. ## How Does It Work? To use this feature, you first need to record a selfie video. During this process, you are asked to look at your device's camera and perform a few simple head movements. These movements help Google recognize your face from multiple angles. ## Security Measures Google is taking various measures to ensure the security of selfie videos. The videos are stored encrypted and are used only for login purposes. Users can delete their recorded videos at any time. ## Identity Verification During login, the newly taken selfie video is compared with the pre-recorded one. If they match, the user gains access to their account. This method aims to prevent identity theft attempts using fake photos and videos. ## Usage Conditions The selfie video feature is not yet available for all Google users. Users can check if their account supports this feature and activate it if it does. ## Future Use Google states that selfie videos will be used only for login purposes. However, users will have the option to share their videos for additional purposes. This hints at a broader range of uses in the future. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.gsmarena.com/you_can_now_log_into_your_google_account_with_a_selfie_video-news-73854.php — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
