1Record Settlement Milestones

TRON surpassed thirty trillion dollars in cumulative transaction volume during the third quarter of 2026. Stablecoin settlement volume reached 2.21 trillion dollars, reflecting sustained high throughput. Average daily settlement volume rose 3.9 percent from the previous quarter to hit 24.05 billion dollars across the decentralized network ecosystem.

2Institutional Staking ETF Launch

Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF on September 9, 2026. The fund provides direct spot exposure to TRX while distributing net staking rewards directly through daily net asset value. TRON DAO celebrated this institutional listing milestone by ringing the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago on September 29.

3Expanding Stablecoin Liquidity Base

The combined supply of USDT and USDD on TRON expanded by 5.5 percent quarter-over-quarter, reaching 93.88 billion dollars. Total value locked, including staking, climbed to 28.21 billion dollars. Excluding staking, pure decentralized finance total value locked closed the third-quarter reporting period at 13.05 billion dollars.

4Active Address Metric Growth

Network participation widened considerably as average rolling monthly active addresses rose 9.8 percent to 18 million. Daily transaction frequency remained broadly steady despite shifting macro sentiment. Overall adoption trends highlighted expanding utility for cross-border digital asset transfers and everyday retail transaction settlement on the base layer.

5Moderating Network Fee Structure

TRON generated 701.4 million dollars in total network fees in Q3 2026, averaging 7.62 million dollars daily. This represented a 4.0 percent decline from Q2 fee generation. The average daily transaction fee also moderated downward from 0.668 dollars to 0.643 dollars per transfer.

6Institutional Custody and Trading

Ecosystem partnerships expanded via Anchorage Digital, which integrated TRX staking alongside TRC-20 token custody. Trading venues Bitnomial and Backpack widened global access to TRX spot markets. In parallel, Ethena deployed USDe and sUSDe, while Ducat connected Bitcoin-backed financial infrastructure directly into TRON stablecoin rails.

7User and Developer Upgrades

MoonPay introduced gasless transactions via Trust Wallet, removing the prerequisite of holding TRX for network fees. Bitcoin.com Wallet added native support for TRX and USDT-TRC20. For protocol builders, Privy broadened wallet policy tooling, while OpenZeppelin deployed industry-standard smart contract libraries and security tooling.

8Cross-Chain Financial Connectivity

Fireblocks Flow enabled payments from native TRON wallets, while Eco and STON.fi expanded cross-chain stablecoin liquidity routing. KiiChain integrated assets with its round-the-clock foreign exchange and payment infrastructure. These institutional and decentralized rails position TRON as an established settlement layer entering the final quarter.
