In the US, Samsung.com offers up to $1,200 off through trade-in credits, along with instant discounts that don't require trade-in. The UK has a different discount structure with separate trade-in values and promo codes. ## Trade-In Benefits Samsung is being generous by maintaining full trade-in values for last-gen devices. The Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra share the same trade-in structure. The Flip models have a lower trade-in ceiling. iPhones and Pixels are valued less than Samsung devices in trade-ins. ## Automatic Discounts Trade-in and instant discounts are applied automatically at checkout, with no extra steps required. Bundling a watch with a phone triggers an automatic discount, valid until August 7. Exact discount amounts in the US haven't been published yet, so customers should verify prices in their carts. ## UK-Specific Offers Samsung's UK store operates a different discount system than the US. It features a flat trade-in range plus stackable promo codes (Z8 for phones, W9 for watches). Unlike the US tiered trade-in table, UK discounts are simpler but equally lucrative when combined with codes. ## Extra Savings with PayPal US shoppers paying with PayPal can use code PAYPAL100 for an additional $100 off. In the UK, codes Z8 (phones) and W9 (watches) stack on top of trade-in values rather than replacing them. These codes provide extra savings on already discounted prices. ## Last Chance Reminder All pre-order deals and trade-in offers expire when general sales begin this Friday. Customers in both the US and UK should act quickly to lock in these limited-time advantages. Discount amounts seen outside Samsung's official site should be treated as unconfirmed until appearing in carts. ## Bundle Discount Mechanics Purchasing a phone and watch together automatically applies a bundle discount at checkout. While the exact US discount figure isn't publicly listed, UK customers see clearer code-based savings. Always verify final prices in your cart before completing the purchase. ## Why Pre-Order Matters Samsung's pre-order period for foldables delivers significant value through high trade-in credits, stackable promo codes, and bundle discounts. These exclusive perks disappear when general sales begin Friday, making this the optimal time to purchase for maximum savings on premium devices. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.talkandroid.com/529329-galaxy-z-fold8-pre-order-deals/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
