At its event in Malaysia, Huawei unveiled the Pura 90s series phones alongside the FreeClip 2 S Signature Edition and MatePad Air (2026). These products are more of a refresh than a full generational upgrade.
2FreeClip 2 S Features
The FreeClip 2 S earbuds feature dual-diaphragm drivers, three mics for noise cancellation, and up to 9 hours of playback. With the case, total listening time extends to 38 hours. The updated Adaptive Volume algorithm adjusts sound based on the environment.
3FreeClip 2 S Design
The FreeClip 2 S comes in Deepsea Blue and Space Silver. It can also be purchased with clip-on accessories designed by the French jewelry house Les Néréides, giving the earbuds a unique look.
4MatePad Air (2026) Innovations
The MatePad Air (2026) offers a few upgrades over its predecessor. The most notable change is the adoption of the PaperMatte OLED display, previously seen in the higher-tier MatePad Pro series, ideal for productivity and reading.
5MatePad Air (2026) Technical Specs
The MatePad Air (2026) features a 12-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2800 x 1840 resolution. Powered by the Kirin T93C chipset, it offers pro-level AI features. The battery capacity remains at 10,100 mAh with 66W fast charging support.
6Pricing and Release Date
The FreeClip 2 S will be available from July 14 starting at £169. The MatePad Air (2026) will be priced from €849. Both products bring significant innovations to tech enthusiasts.
