The thinnest models of 2026 feature designs so sleek they practically disappear into your wall. We compare the slimmest options across OLED, QLED and RGB technologies. ## LG W6 Wallpaper: Record Thinness At just 0.38 inches thick, the LG W6 Wallpaper holds the title of thinnest TV ever. Its completely wireless design with Zero Connect box mounts like a painting. OLED technology delivers perfect contrast and dark room performance. ## OLED Advantages The W6's 8.3 million self-lit pixels render every scene with perfect detail. Its Brightness Booster Ultra processor makes it 3.9x brighter than average OLEDs. However, it carries burn-in risk if left on static images constantly. ## Samsung The Frame: Art Meets Tech At 1-inch thick, The Frame blends into home decor with QLED technology. Its matte screen and interchangeable frames create a genuine artwork illusion. Smaller sizes make it perfect for gallery walls. ## The Frame's Target Audience This model caters to design-conscious homeowners rather than hardcore gamers or cinephiles. The Art Store subscription adds $5/month to ownership costs. ## Hisense CanvasTV: Budget-Friendly Option At 2.2 inches thick, Hisense CanvasTV offers an affordable alternative. Full-array local dimming delivers vibrant daytime colors while maintaining good dark scene performance. ## Optimized for Sports The Hisense model is particularly optimized for sports content. Its frequent discounts make it attractive for budget-conscious buyers. ## Comparative Analysis OLEDs lead in contrast, QLEDs excel in brightness, while RGB models strike a balance. There's an option for every user need across the thickness-performance-price spectrum. ## Conclusion: Design Meets Performance 2026's thinnest TVs showcase technological progress. LG W6 suits those prioritizing thinness, The Frame appeals to decor-focused buyers, while Hisense offers budget-friendly performance. ## Sources covering this story - https://mashable.com/tech/thinnest-tvs-2026 — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
