1Unique Coachbuilding Commission

The Peralta D represents a one-off project by GFG Style, commissioned by Mexican entrepreneur Carlos Peralta. Unveiled at the 2026 Pastejé Automotive Invitational, this vehicle follows the 2025 Peralta S. It serves as a highly personalized grand tourer, built specifically to reflect the owner's tastes rather than mass-market automotive industry expectations.

2Hand-Hammered Copper Exterior

GFG Style replaced standard painted panels with pure, hand-hammered copper, leaving the natural reddish finish exposed. This lower body is paired with mirrored glass treated in a matching copper tone for the upper section. The design utilizes a wedge-shaped profile, intentionally recalling the iconic automotive work of Giorgetto Giugiaro from the 1970s.

3Innovative Entry Mechanisms

The vehicle features a distinct departure from conventional door designs through its unique canopy system. The front section utilizes a glass canopy that tilts forward in a single motion, while rear passengers access the cabin via separate gullwing-style openings. This configuration draws inspiration from the 1967 De Tomaso Mangusta engine cover design.

4Interior Materiality and Details

The cabin aesthetic aligns with the exterior through metallic-effect leather, perforated Alcantara, and genuine copper-thread stitching. Personalization extends to functional luxury, including a dedicated makeup station with an illuminated mirror on the passenger dashboard. A retractable refrigerator in the centre console provides storage for a champagne bottle and four copper glasses.

5Mechanical Foundation Retained

Beneath the bespoke copper bodywork, the Peralta D preserves the core mechanical architecture of the Maserati GranTurismo. The build utilizes a carbon-fibre structure integrated with an aluminium chassis. While GFG Style confirmed the inclusion of a combustion-engine powertrain, specific engine performance figures and technical output details remain undisclosed at this time.

6Design and Aesthetic Integration

Anthracite-black alloy wheels feature a retro pattern inspired by 1970s aesthetics, complementing the car's geometric character. Slim lighting elements and diamond-pattern aluminium grilles maintain a clean front profile. Carbon-fibre components are carefully integrated throughout the frame to ensure they do not disrupt the cohesive visual flow of the copper and glass.

7Naming and Personal Significance

The naming convention follows a specific family-oriented logic established by the owner. The 'D' in Peralta D refers to the daughters of Carlos Peralta, mirroring the 'S' designation used for the earlier Peralta S project, which was dedicated to his sons. This naming strategy emphasizes the project's nature as a deeply personal heirloom.

8Exclusivity of Bespoke Projects

There are no plans to move the Peralta D into production, as it remains a singular commission. This project highlights the freedom inherent in high-end coachbuilding, where traditional metalworking techniques meet modern automotive platforms. It stands as a testament to the intersection of artisanal craftsmanship and established, high-performance Italian mechanical engineering.
