These options make it easy for users to repair their devices. ## Automatic Troubleshooting The Recovery Assistant automatically detects and attempts to fix software issues on your iPhone. This feature provides quick solutions without the need for a computer connection, saving users time. ## Software Update The recovery mode allows you to update your device to the latest iOS version using a nearby iPhone or iPad. This feature is not available on older devices and is particularly useful for booting issues. ## Diagnostics and Factory Reset Diagnostics mode helps Apple employees identify problems, while the factory reset option completely wipes your device. These options should be used as a last resort for serious software issues. ## How to Access Recovery Mode Accessing recovery mode in iOS 27 is straightforward.
