The ceremony took place at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Florida. Charlie, currently ranked 21st in the American Junior Golf Association, will join the Seminoles following his upcoming high school graduation. ## Parental Support Displayed Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren reunited to support their son during the signing event. Both parents wore the university's signature maroon colors to celebrate the milestone. They were joined by Nordegren’s longtime partner, former NFL player Jordan Cameron, and their three children, who also appeared in Florida State University team merchandise. ## History of Co-Parenting Despite finalizing their divorce in 2010 following a high-profile scandal, the former couple maintains a cooperative relationship. Tiger Woods has previously described Nordegren as one of his best friends, emphasizing that their children remain the primary focus of their lives. They frequently reunite to celebrate significant milestones in their children's lives. ## Recent Athletic Milestones The family recently celebrated Charlie receiving his championship ring for the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A State Championship. Tiger and Elin were both present at the February ceremony. This follows their attendance at the November 2023 state title win, where they also supported their son's athletic achievements together. ## Golf Course Dynamics The Woods family often integrates golf into their shared activities. In December 2024, Tiger played alongside Charlie at the PNC Championship in Orlando, while daughter Sam Woods served as their caddie. These public appearances highlight a consistent pattern of involvement from both parents in their children's competitive sports careers. ## Personal Life Updates Tiger Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump, a relationship confirmed in March 2025. Reports suggest the pair shares similar values and a preference for avoiding public drama. Meanwhile, Elin Nordegren continues to raise her family with Jordan Cameron, maintaining a stable environment for their children alongside her co-parenting duties. ## Legacy of Athletic Offspring Charlie Woods joins a growing list of children from professional athletes pursuing collegiate careers. Similar to the paths taken by the sons of Michael Jordan or LeBron James, Charlie faces the challenge of carving his own identity. These young athletes often navigate significant public attention while striving to achieve personal success. ## Future Athletic Trajectory By committing to Florida State, Charlie moves into the collegiate golf landscape, a major step toward potential professional play. His parents' continued presence indicates a strong support system as he transitions from high school. Observers will now look to see how he performs at the university level in Tallahassee. ## Sources covering this story - [E!
