Made from CNC-cut plywood, the system stands without screws or brackets. Designed by Lorenzo Vega, it can be configured in various layouts to suit different spatial needs. This feature gives users the freedom to frequently change their furniture arrangements without limitations. ## Smart 4-Piece Design The system consists of just four interchangeable components: two shelf tops and two sets of legs. The pieces connect through specially designed interlocking joints requiring no tools. This simple connection system allows the product to transform into different forms. Users can assemble or disassemble the shelf in just minutes according to their needs. ## Versatile Usage Options Different configurations with the same components make the shelf multipurpose. A low and wide setup creates an ideal display area for books and decor, while a vertical arrangement works as a room divider in open spaces. Smaller configurations provide practical storage solutions for tight corners in bedrooms or entryways. ## Adapting to Space Dynamics The natural plywood finish allows Repisa 01 to blend with most interior color schemes. This feature is particularly valuable for frequent movers. The absence of fixed shelf spacing accommodates items of various sizes. As collections grow, users can simply rearrange the shelf to meet their changing storage needs. ## Perfect Solution for Renters The product's standout feature is its completely wall-independent design. Unlike most modular shelving systems on the market, Repisa 01 requires no wall anchors or back panels. This makes it an ideal storage solution for renters and those who move frequently, preserving walls while providing full functionality. ## Key Design Features Repisa 01's interlocking design doesn't dictate space organization like traditional shelves. Instead, it adapts to user needs. The lightweight plywood construction makes it easy to move and reconfigure. These characteristics position it as a sustainable, long-lasting product that stands out in the furniture market. ## User Experience and Practicality Easy assembly and disassembly allow users to frequently modify their furniture arrangements. During moves, the shelf can be broken down and reassembled in new configurations. This feature makes it particularly attractive to young professionals and those embracing minimalist lifestyles who value flexibility and adaptability. ## A New Approach in Furniture Design Repisa 01 represents an innovative approach emphasizing flexibility and adaptation in furniture design. It redefines users' relationship with their spaces by freeing walls while maintaining functionality. This design philosophy holds significant value in today's urban environments where living spaces continue to shrink. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.yankodesign.com/2026/08/13/the-no-drill-plywood-shelf-system-every-renter-has-been-waiting-for/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-no-drill-plywood-shelf-system-every-renter-has-been-waiting-for — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
