Baseten Launches Dedicated Single-Tenant Hosting for Runway Video Models
Enterprises can now deploy private Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0 instances on isolated GPU infrastructure.
1Enterprise Video Infrastructure Partnership
Baseten announced on October 14, 2026, that enterprises can deploy Runway’s Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0 video models through Dedicated Inference. Customers license proprietary model weights directly from Runway while executing inference within isolated, single-tenant cloud environments managed by Baseten across dedicated GPU clusters.
2Gen-4.5 Generative Video Architecture
Runway’s Gen-4.5 converts text and image inputs into cinematic video outputs with realistic physics and prompt adherence. Built for storyboarding, cinematic B-roll, and multi-variation campaigns, the proprietary model delivers temporal consistency across photorealistic scenes, providing direct control over detailed camera motion and stylistic directions.
3In-Context Editing via Aleph 2.0
Aleph 2.0 operates as an in-context editing model supporting multi-scene videos up to 30 seconds at 1080p resolution. Starting from prompts or edited keyframes, users modify products, clothing, or backgrounds across multiple shots without reshoots, preserving surrounding scene details through continuous shot-to-shot consistency.
4Isolated Single-Tenant Workload Planes
Workloads run inside isolated Virtual Private Clouds on Baseten Cloud without sharing infrastructure with other tenants. Baseten does not store synchronous inference inputs or outputs. Models pull weights from private repositories and cache them in-cluster, accelerating cold-start latencies during dynamic production demands.
5Private Networking and Compliance Controls
Deployments operate under SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance frameworks, with optional GDPR support. Organizations can disable direct internet access entirely, restricting outbound traffic via allow-lists and serving private endpoints over AWS PrivateLink or Google Cloud Private Service Connect to prevent public exposure.
6Fine-Tuning on Proprietary Assets
Enterprise teams can fine-tune Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0 directly on internal brand assets, style guidelines, and historical media. Runway licenses the underlying model weights for training, while Baseten supplies the compute fabric to manage customization pipelines and host fine-tuned checkpoints in dedicated environments.
7Reserved Compute and Autoscaling Architecture
Baseten provisions dedicated GPU hardware per customer with options for region locking and autoscaling across nodes, clusters, or hybrid clouds. The platform guarantees high availability backed by a 99.99% uptime SLA, allowing enterprise engineering teams to absorb unexpected inference spikes smoothly.
8Enterprise Creative Production Shift
Organizations such as Microsoft, Amazon, Robinhood, and Dolce & Gabbana already deploy Runway models for production workloads. Providing dedicated infrastructure for foundation video models reflects a structural enterprise shift from shared public inference APIs toward isolated, compliance-ready generative media hosting environments.
