These releases represent a significant expansion of the company's hardware portfolio. The trackers are available for $29.99 individually or $99 for a four-pack, while the open-ear earbuds retail for $229. ## SmartTag 3 Design Evolution The Galaxy SmartTag 3 features a slimmer, more uniform, and compact design compared to previous iterations. While the device has abandoned the built-in loop, its portable form factor remains a priority. Samsung offers the tracker in two distinct colorways, white and black, to suit various user preferences and aesthetic needs. ## Advanced Tracking Capabilities New features include Place Notification and Movement Detection Alert, providing real-time updates on tagged items. The Compass View offers distance and directional guidance up to 60 meters away. Additionally, the device supports Location History, allowing users to monitor the movement patterns of their belongings through the integrated Galaxy Find Network. ## Network Connectivity Constraints The SmartTag 3 operates exclusively on Samsung’s Galaxy Find Network rather than Google’s broader Find My Device network. Consequently, the tracker remains limited to Galaxy devices and iPhones, as Samsung provides an iOS application for basic connectivity. This strategic choice maintains a closed ecosystem for the company's latest tracking hardware. ## Durability and Battery Performance Engineered for longevity, the Galaxy SmartTag 3 is rated for 550 days of battery power. The device also carries an IP67 rating, ensuring resistance against water and dust exposure. These technical specifications aim to provide reliable performance for users tracking items in diverse environments over extended periods of time. ## Galaxy Buds On Ergonomics The Galaxy Buds On introduce a clip-on, open-ear design weighing 6.65 grams per bud. Samsung utilized over 119 million ear data points to refine the fit for user comfort. This design marks the company's entry into a new market segment, focusing on a secure wrap-around style for daily wear. ## Audio and Smart Features The earbuds feature TwinBoost Speaker technology for automatic volume adjustment based on surroundings. Audio Leakage Reduction ensures privacy despite the open-ear design. Furthermore, the buds support Google’s Gemini Live voice commands and include head gestures, allowing users to answer calls, manage notifications, and silence alarms through simple physical movements. ## Strategic Ecosystem Integration By launching these products simultaneously, Samsung strengthens its hardware ecosystem. The integration of Gemini Live and specific Galaxy-centric network features highlights a focus on seamless connectivity. As these devices enter the U.S. market, their success will depend on user adoption of the proprietary Galaxy Find Network and open-ear audio. ## Sources covering this story - [9to5Google — Samsung Launches Galaxy SmartTag 3 Tracker Online](https://9to5google.com/2026/11/06/galaxy-smarttag-3-available-from-samsung/) - [Latest from Android Central — Samsung Launches SmartTag 3 and Galaxy Buds On in the U.S.](https://www.androidcentral.com/accessories/earbuds/samsungs-smarter-redesigned-smarttag-3-is-here-in-the-u-s-with-the-galaxy-buds-on) - [Droid Life – Opinionated Android news. — Samsung Launches Galaxy Buds On and SmartTag3 in US Market](https://www.droid-life.com/2026/11/06/samsungs-galaxy-buds-on-smarttag3-now-available/) - [GSMArena.com - Latest articles — Samsung Galaxy Buds On Europe Launch Window Narrowed](https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_buds_on_europe_launch_timeframe-news-75394.php) - [Android Authority — Top 5 Bluetooth Tracker Alternatives to Samsung SmartTag 3](https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-smarttag-3-alternatives-3729346/) --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
