Amazon has initiated the first discount for the device, which is scheduled for release on November 13th. Customers can currently preorder the unit for $289.99, reflecting a nine-dollar reduction from the original retail price. ## Hardware and AI Integration The new streaming box is powered by the A19 chip and includes native support for Siri AI. Unlike previous versions, this model incorporates far-field microphones to facilitate hands-free voice requests. Users can leverage Apple Intelligence via connected iPhones or iPads to receive personalized recommendations and context-aware answers about their current media content. ## Technical Limitations and Upgrades Despite the hardware refresh, the device lacks features like audio passthrough and 120fps output support. However, the updated Siri Remote now integrates Find My precision tracking, allowing users to locate the remote via their iPhone. Additionally, the system now supports pairing up to four compatible HomePod speakers for an expanded surround-sound audio configuration. ## Software Update Compatibility While the new Apple TV 4K features built-in Siri AI capabilities, Apple intends to bring this functionality to older models through a future software update. This ensures that existing users can still access voice-based intelligence features without needing to purchase the latest hardware, provided their devices meet the necessary system requirements for compatibility. ## Pikmin 4 Digital Promotion Walmart is currently offering a digital copy of Pikmin 4 for $39.88, providing a twenty-dollar saving compared to standard retail pricing. Users can later purchase a $9.99 upgrade pack for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which includes enhanced graphics and the new Dandori Academy mode, resulting in a total cost lower than the standalone edition. ## OtterBox Smartphone Case Sale Woot is hosting a discount event on various OtterBox cases through October 31st. The Symmetry Series Clear Case for the iPhone 16 is currently priced at $5.99, down from its usual $49.99. The promotion covers a wide range of models, including options for Samsung and Google devices, all backed by a 90-day warranty period. ## Fanttik Electric Screwdriver Deal The Fanttik S1 Pro electric screwdriver is available on Amazon for $45.99, representing a forty-four-dollar discount. This cordless tool features a 220RPM motor, three torque settings, and sixteen S2 hardened steel bits. It also includes an integrated LED light to assist with visibility during small assembly tasks or general home maintenance projects. ## Market Strategy and Consumer Impact These concurrent promotions across electronics and accessories highlight aggressive retail strategies ahead of the holiday season. By discounting new hardware like the Apple TV 4K alongside older inventory, retailers aim to drive volume. Consumers benefit from these incremental savings, though the overall market trend shows higher entry prices for premium tech hardware releases. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.theverge.com/gadgets/1012962/apple-tv-4k-fourth-generation-fanttik-s1-pro-deal-sale — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
