Rush Announces Five-Night Elevate From the Norm Residency at Las Vegas Sphere
The legendary prog rock trio brings their reunion tour to the immersive Sphere venue.
1Residency Details Announced
Rush will perform a five-night residency titled Elevate From the Norm at the Las Vegas Sphere next spring. The shows are scheduled for May 21, 23, 26, 28, and 30. This engagement follows the band's ongoing Fifty Something reunion tour, which marks their first major concert series in eleven years.
2Visual Spectacle Ambitions
Geddy Lee expressed that the Sphere is tailor-made for the band's visual design philosophy. The group is currently developing new, expanded visual concepts to match the venue's unique immersive capabilities. Lee noted that the team is crafting new madness to ensure the production satisfies fans both visually and viscerally during performances.
3Iconic Album Performances
The setlist for the Las Vegas residency will feature a mix of greatest hits and fan favorites. Notably, the band plans to perform their 1976 masterpiece 2112 and their 1981 album Moving Pictures in their entirety. These full-album sets have been highlights during the group's recent one-off city tour dates.
4New Touring Lineup
The current iteration of Rush features co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. Following the death of Neil Peart in 2020, drummer Anika Nilles joined the band, earning praise for her precise handling of complex arrangements. Keyboardist Loren Gold also contributes to the expanded sound, supporting the band's live performances throughout this tour.
5Ticketing and Access
General public ticket sales for the residency begin on Friday, November 13. Exclusive presales for Rush Backstage and newsletter subscribers start on November 11. The band has partnered with Superfan to offer VIP and travel packages, which include accommodations at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and access to a dedicated merchandise pop-up.
6Sphere Venue Context
Since its opening with U2, the Sphere has become a premier destination for high-concept concert residencies. Artists like Metallica, Phish, and Dead & Company have utilized the venue's wrap-around screen technology to create immersive environments. Rush joins this roster, aiming to leverage the space to elevate their established progressive rock aesthetic.
7Touring Legacy Continues
The Fifty Something tour, which began on June 7, 2026, represents a significant return for the band. After wrapping their international dates in Helsinki on April 10, the group will transition directly into the Las Vegas residency. This schedule reflects the band's commitment to performing in the present tense after years away.
8Future Fan Expectations
The residency serves as a culmination of the band's recent reunion efforts. By combining classic material with the advanced technical infrastructure of the Sphere, Rush aims to provide a definitive live experience. Fans traveling from various locations will witness a production designed to honor the band's history while embracing modern technology.
