The visual features the singer traversing landscapes in Hollywood and Paris while dragging a golden skeleton. Lyrically, the track explores themes of romantic nervousness, with Slayyyter singing about a funny little secret and feeling blushing sensations. ## Upcoming Album Details The new track will be featured on her forthcoming album, Wor$t Man in America, scheduled for release on December 4. This project serves as a brother album to her 2026 breakout, Wor$t Girl in America. The LP consists of nine tracks, continuing the creative momentum established by her previous successful musical efforts. ## Evolution of Sound Slayyyter describes her earlier albums, Troubled Paradise and Starfucker, as essential building blocks for her artistic identity. She notes that the sound she achieved on Wor$t Girl in America was a long-term goal that could not have served as her debut. She now views her current work as a more authentic representation. ## Inverse Album Concept In a recent interview, the artist explained that Wor$t Man in America functions as an inverse album. She aims to extend her current creative era, ensuring the core of the music feels deeply personal. This project follows the release of teaser tracks including Crank 2, Beat Up Chanel$, and I Think He’s Got a Girl. ## Touring and Health Challenges The singer faced significant health hurdles in October, forcing the cancellation of remaining European and U.K. dates for her Wor$t Girl in the World Tour. Doctors ordered full vocal rest after diagnosing her with laryngitis and vocal cord tears. She plans to resume her touring schedule in Australia this coming February. ## Live Performance History Fans received an early preview of the new material when Slayyyter performed Hey Boyyy as an unreleased track during her Wor$t Girl in Nyyyc pop-up show. This event took place at the Market Hotel in Bushwick, highlighting her commitment to engaging with her audience through intimate live performances before official studio releases. ## Future Performance Milestones Despite recent health-related cancellations, Slayyyter is looking toward a major milestone in her career. She has officially sold out a headline show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This performance is currently scheduled to take place on June 21, 2027, marking a significant venue achievement for the pop artist. ## Strategic Artistic Trajectory By releasing a brother album to her 2026 project, Slayyyter is doubling down on the sonic identity she spent years refining. The combination of self-directed visuals and a clear thematic link between records suggests a deliberate effort to maintain narrative consistency as she transitions into this next phase of her career. ## Sources covering this story - [Rolling Stone β€” Slayyyter Releases New Single Hey Boyyy and Announces Upcoming Album](https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/slayyyter-hey-boyyy-single-music-video-1235653808/) - [Pitchfork – News β€” Slayyyter Releases New Hey Boyyy Music Video](https://pitchfork.com/story/watch-slayyyter-date-a-skeleton-in-new-hey-boyyy-video/) --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
