This color extends from the floor to the walls and ceiling, creating a sense of unity. A detailed wooden screen hides everyday clutter while allowing light and air to pass through. ## Multi-Purpose Furniture Design A custom-designed table can slide and expand to serve as a kitchen counter, dining table, or workspace. This flexibility allows the space to adapt to daily needs effortlessly. ## Openness at Ground Level By incorporating the former balcony into the interior, the ground level reads as one long, open space rather than a series of divided rooms. Subtle changes in flooring materials delineate different activity zones. ## Flexible Storage Solutions On the lower level, shelves and storage units fit together like puzzle pieces. Movable seating elements double as tables or ottomans, adding to the apartment's versatility. ## Privacy and Light on the Mezzanine The mezzanine is lightly defined by a slim guardrail with green panels. A slatted divider provides privacy without blocking sunlight, while shelves and mirrors make narrow passages feel more dynamic. ## Airiness in the Bedroom Custom millwork keeps the bedroom floor clear, making the space feel larger. Soft curtains diffuse daylight, creating a cozy, cocoon-like atmosphere. ## Sources covering this story - https://design-milk.com/studio-papayas-sbc-apartment-showcases-small-space-and-smart-design/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
