1Inauguration of 128th Edition

The 128th edition of Fieracavalli commences in Verona from November 5 to 8. Chamber of Deputies President Lorenzo Fontana leads the opening ceremony alongside ministers Lollobrigida, Locatelli, and Mazzi. The event spans twelve pavilions and outdoor areas, marking a significant gathering for the international equestrian community and agricultural sector stakeholders.

2Scale and Industry Reach

This year’s exhibition hosts 2,400 horses representing 60 distinct breeds. Over 700 exhibiting companies from 25 countries participate, supported by 35 breeding associations. The event features more than 200 scheduled activities, including a delegation of 40 top-tier international buyers selected through a strategic partnership with the ICE Agency.

3Social Inclusion Initiatives

A highlight of the opening day is the launch of the Ristorante H Academy Ape'n Down. Located at the Palaexpo, this initiative provides professional training and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The project represents a collaboration between the local social cooperative and Fieracavalli to foster meaningful workplace integration.

4Focus on Equine Health

The event emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between horses and human health. A dedicated talk at the pavilion 4 area explores specialized training for animal-assisted interventions, organized by the Santa Giuliana Hospital. Additionally, Minister Locatelli will present an Autism Friendly area, highlighting the exhibition's commitment to accessibility and social welfare.

5Agricultural Policy Discussions

Minister Francesco Lollobrigida and Coldiretti President Ettore Prandini will lead a conference on the role of horses within the agricultural supply chain. The discussion focuses on the protection and development of equine resources. Following the session, officials will donate two horses and heavy machinery to the municipality of Vallepietra.

6International Sport Competitions

Evening programming, known as Le Notti di Fieracavalli, features high-level equestrian sports. The CDI 4-star Stefano Ricci Top Dressage Trophy Grand Prix debuts in pavilion 8. Furthermore, the Italia Polo Challenge, presented by Falconeri, brings professional polo matches to the fairgrounds for the first time, diversifying the event's competitive sports portfolio.

7Cultural Equestrian Performances

The Special Equestrian Show showcases diverse traditions, ranging from Baroque-style performances by Giorgio Runza to the historical customs of Maremma butteri. In pavilion 9, the theater production titled Il Dono features artists from Córdoba Ecuestre. These performances integrate artistic expression with traditional horsemanship, attracting a broad audience beyond professional breeders.

8Strategic Economic Impact

Fieracavalli serves as a critical hub for the Italian agricultural and tourism sectors. By integrating government policy discussions with international trade and public entertainment, the event strengthens the economic ties between the equine industry and regional development. The presence of high-ranking officials underscores the sector's importance in national strategic planning.
