Pulling the door open, stepping back, and then entering while it closes behind you creates an awkward user experience. ## The Advantage of Double-Swing German manufacturer Neher's double-swing screen door eliminates this issue. The door can swing in both directions, allowing users to enter easily even with their hands full. ## Switching Between Modes The door can be set to double-swing mode on nice days. When the interior door is closed, it switches to single-swing mode to avoid hitting the interior door. This flexibility enhances user experience. ## Double Version Neher also offers a double version of the door. This model is ideal for wider spaces and can be customized to meet users' needs. ## Why Isn't It Widespread? The reason this innovative design isn't widespread globally is a matter of curiosity. Likely, the entrenchment of traditional designs and manufacturers' reluctance to invest in innovative solutions play a role. ## User Experience The double-swing screen door offers a practical solution that simplifies users' daily lives. Such innovations highlight the importance of user-centric approaches in product design. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.core77.com/posts/144696/From-Germany-Double-Swing-Screen-Doors — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
