## New Feature: Message Pinning

With Signal's latest update, you can now pin important messages in both one-on-one and group chats. This feature ensures quick access to frequently used information. Messages, photos, polls, or files can be pinned by long-pressing them.

## How to Use It

To pin a message, long-press it and select the pin option. The pinned message will appear at the top of the chat. In group chats, admins can configure who can pin messages. You can also customize the pin duration.

## Pin Durations

You can pin messages for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or indefinitely. Once the set duration expires, the message is automatically unpinned. You can also manually unpin a message at any time.

## Limitations

A chat can have up to 3 pinned messages at once. If a new message is pinned and the limit is reached, the oldest pinned message is automatically unpinned. Additionally, you won't see pinned messages if the original message isn't in your chat history.

## Usage in Group Chats

In group chats, pinned messages are visible to all members. However, those who join after the message was sent or who deleted the message won't see it. Disappearing messages are automatically unpinned when their timer expires.

## Join the Beta Program

You can join Signal's beta program to try new features early and provide feedback. This allows you to contribute to the app's development and experience new functionalities before they are officially released.
