He hires the daughter of his former coach, Butch, who is battling Alzheimer's. Meanwhile, Santi Wheeler faces a critical career choice between accepting a full-ride golf scholarship or turning professional immediately. ## Platform Exclusivity Details Stick is an Apple TV Plus exclusive production, meaning it is not available on free streaming services. New subscribers can utilize a seven-day free trial to access the content. Users who recently purchased an Apple device may qualify for an extended trial period of up to three months before standard billing begins. ## Global Access Strategy Viewers traveling outside their home region may encounter geo-blocking that prevents access to Apple TV Plus. Utilizing a VPN allows users to change their virtual IP address, simulating a connection from their home country. This technical workaround ensures uninterrupted access to the show's weekly release schedule regardless of the user's physical location. ## Release Schedule Overview The season premiered on Wednesday, November 4, with a double-episode release. Subsequent episodes follow a weekly cadence every Wednesday through the end of December. The final episode of the ten-part season is scheduled to air on December 30, providing a consistent stream of content throughout the entire festive holiday period. ## Cast and Character Dynamics The ensemble cast features Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill and Peter Dager as Santi Wheeler. Rhea Seehorn joins the cast as Amanda, while Marc Maron portrays Mitts. The narrative explores complex interpersonal relationships, including the professional tension between Santi and his mother-manager, Elena, as she navigates her own new romantic connection. ## Subscription Cost Structure Following the conclusion of any promotional trial periods, the standard monthly subscription fee for Apple TV Plus is $14.99 in the United States. Pricing varies by region, with costs set at £9.99 in the UK, CA$14.99 in Canada, and AU$15.99 in Australia, granting access to the platform's library of 4K and HDR content. ## Technical Privacy Considerations Beyond bypassing regional restrictions, VPN services serve as a security layer for users accessing content on public networks. By encrypting data traffic, these tools protect online privacy while abroad. Editorial testing highlights the importance of choosing reputable providers to ensure reliable connectivity and high-speed streaming performance for high-definition video playback. ## Strategic Content Distribution The release strategy for Stick season two leverages the holiday season to drive platform engagement through weekly episodic drops. By combining high-profile talent with a structured release calendar, Apple TV Plus maintains subscriber interest over two months. This model illustrates the current industry trend of prioritizing original, serialized content to retain users. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.techradar.com/entertainment/tv-shows/how-to-watch-stick-season-2 — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
