Featuring LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery technology, FridgeGuard delivers 800W continuous and 1600W peak power output. The 23.6 x 12.8 x 2.63 inch device can be monitored via Jackery's mobile app. Users can check real-time status of charge level, power output, and temperature.
4Pricing and availability
Jackery FridgeGuard is currently available exclusively at Costco.com and select Costco warehouses. During launch, it's offered at 20% discount for $549.99 (regular $699.99). A $65 annual Costco membership is required for purchase. Free shipping is provided for online orders.
5User experience
Testers report the device easily slides onto refrigerator tops without hitting upper cabinets. Its lightweight design makes transportation convenient. The included screw-on legs allow for side mounting next to the refrigerator. The slim profile ensures it doesn't occupy much space.
6Important step for food safety
FridgeGuard has significant potential to reduce food waste, especially in areas with frequent power outages. Backed by a 5-year warranty, this solution serves both household users and small businesses. For extended outages, two units can be combined for 30 hours of backup power.
