FOLD Token Now Available for Trading on Kraken

Kraken exchange opened trading for FOLD, the native token of the Interfold network, starting August 25, 2026. Users can now deposit and trade FOLD. To add the token to accounts, deposits must be made through supported networks in the Funding section. Using incorrect networks may result in token loss.
2Interfold Network Technology
FOLD token supports the economic operations of the Interfold encrypted coordination network. The network utilizes fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), and distributed threshold cryptography. These technologies coordinate encrypted execution environments (E3s) through operators called ciphernodes. No single operator can access complete data.
3Use Cases
The Interfold protocol offers applications including sealed-bid auctions, private voting systems, multi-party computation workflows, and sensitive data analysis. The open-source system was previously known as Enclave. The protocol enables processing of private data without disclosure at any stage.
4Trading Conditions on Kraken
FOLD will become available on Kraken App and Instant Buy features once liquidity conditions are met. These features will activate when sufficient buyers and sellers enter the market. Some geographic restrictions may apply according to the exchange's policies.
