This processor features a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU, marking a significant hardware upgrade. Each core includes a Neural Accelerator, while the integrated 16-core Dual Neural Engine is specifically designed to handle complex artificial intelligence workloads efficiently. ## Performance and Graphics Gains The M6 chip provides a 30 percent increase in graphical performance compared to the previous M5 generation. Additionally, the Dual Neural Engine operates up to 1.9 times faster, significantly accelerating AI-driven tasks. These improvements allow the device to maintain high performance-per-watt ratios while managing demanding applications and large-scale professional projects. ## Battery and Memory Specs The new MacBook Pro achieves up to 24 hours of battery life, the longest duration ever recorded for a Mac. It comes standard with 16GB of unified memory, which is configurable up to 32GB. The system supports a memory bandwidth of up to 170 GBps, facilitating faster multitasking for intensive professional workflows. ## Display and Visual Quality The device retains the 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, offering 1,600 nits of HDR brightness and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Users working in bright or challenging lighting conditions can opt for a nanotexture display finish. This specialized coating is designed to reduce glare and improve visibility during high-intensity professional creative tasks. ## Enhanced Wireless Connectivity Connectivity has been upgraded to include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 standards, ensuring faster wireless performance and reduced latency. The laptop supports up to two external monitors, providing flexibility for multi-display setups. These wireless improvements are intended to support high-speed data transfers and stable connections in modern, bandwidth-heavy professional digital environments. ## Ports and Peripheral Support The MacBook Pro includes a comprehensive array of ports, featuring three Thunderbolt 4 connections and an HDMI port. It also retains the MagSafe 3 charging port, an SD card slot, and a standard headphone jack. This versatile selection allows for seamless integration with high-speed peripherals and external storage devices for professional users. ## Charging and Power Efficiency The device supports fast charging capabilities when paired with a compatible 96W USB-C power adapter. This configuration allows the battery to reach 50 percent capacity in just 30 minutes of charging. This power management system ensures that users can quickly replenish their battery during short breaks throughout a busy workday. ## Availability and Pricing Details Pre-orders for the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip are currently open. Official deliveries are scheduled to commence on Friday, November 6. The entry-level model is priced at 2,349 euros. This release positions the device as a high-performance tool for users requiring significant computational power and extended mobile battery life. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.today.it/tech/nuovo-macbook-pro-14-m6.html — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
