Coral Barn Alvorada House: A Tribute to Brazilian Rural Heritage
Nildo José's design reflects the relationship between memory and belonging through architecture.
1Project Philosophy
Coral Barn Alvorada House was designed with the idea of preserving Brazil's rural heritage. Drawing inspiration from the concept of 'celar' (to safeguard), the project pays homage to the agricultural roots of Parque da Água Branca. Celebrating the park's 30th anniversary, the design revolves around the 'Mind and Heart' theme. Exhibited at Nildo José's seventh CASACOR participation, the project translates the relationship between memory, affection, and permanence into architecture.
2Architectural Details
Spanning 213 square meters, the project blends modern and traditional elements. Sponsored by Coral paint, the house bears the signature of NJ+ Arquitetura. Materials include products from brands like Dpot, Etel Design, and Silvestre Vidros. Led by Trousseau, the design team prioritized functionality while maintaining spatial balance. The architectural approach respects the site's historical context while introducing contemporary solutions.
3Interior Design
Minimalist aesthetics were achieved using products from Olho Interni and Taciela Gomes. Textiles by Sandra Telles and JRJ Tecidos added warmth to the spaces. Woodwork by Piatã Norte and Madeira Bonita reflects traditional Brazilian craftsmanship. Selections from Vitrine and Sólida Mármores strike a balance between luxury and simplicity. The interior palette emphasizes natural materials and tactile experiences.
4Landscaping and Lighting
Leticia Bononi Paisagismo's landscape design harmonizes natural and built environments. Bertolucci and Lumini's lighting solutions transform the space at night. Estúdio Carlos Fortes' light designs enhance the architecture's dramatic effect. Light Design's contributions balance functional and decorative illumination. The outdoor spaces feature native vegetation and sustainable irrigation systems.
5Engineering Solutions
Completed in 2026 under Tella Engenharia's construction management, the 213 sqm structure showcases technical excellence. Evolveer's installation solutions maximize energy efficiency. Engineering consultancy by Lepri Cerâmicas and Evviva São Paulo ensures structural durability. Aldi Flosi's technical support guaranteed timely project delivery. The building meets all contemporary safety and accessibility standards.
6Material Selection
Sustainable materials from Granos and Breton were prioritized throughout the project. Deca and Donatelli's bathroom solutions offer modern comfort, while Basile Marcenaria's woodwork features handmade details. Furniture by Giovanna Polloni (GPO) and HTA Móveis adds unique character to spaces. Jocal Estofados' fabric selections enhance comfort levels. Each material choice reflects the project's environmental consciousness.
7Exhibition and Events
Casa Coral Celeiro Alvorada was exhibited at Parque da Água Branca from June 2 to August 9, 2026. As part of CASACOR São Paulo, the project allowed visitors to experience architectural and interior design intersections. Installations by Atelier Carlos Motta and Casa Mineira enriched spatial experiences. Decorative elements by R2 Decorações added color to the exhibition. The event attracted architecture enthusiasts and design professionals alike.
8Design Significance
Nildo José's project serves as an exemplar of cultural heritage preservation in contemporary Brazilian architecture. Sponsored by Coral paint, it demonstrates successful brand-architecture collaboration. The harmonious integration of architecture, interior design, and landscaping reflects holistic design thinking. Completed in 2026, the work contributes to São Paulo's cultural landscape. The project sets new standards for residential design with cultural sensitivity.
