Experts emphasize that garden areas should be considered an extension of the home. This approach adds warmth and charm to spaces. The ornaments and hanging plates in French's greenhouse give the space a unique character. ## Trend-Independent Decor Design expert Francesca McEvoy notes that Dawn's greenhouse doesn't follow specific trends but reflects personal tastes. Arranging plants at varying heights and using trailing plants creates a layered look. Such natural, evolved decorations add an authentic feel to greenhouse spaces. ## Multi-Purpose Greenhouse Use Andrew White from Rhino Greenhouses states that greenhouses now serve as relaxation and entertainment spaces beyond just plant cultivation. Adding small benches, bistro sets, and soft furnishings can enhance comfort. Celebrities like Fred Sirieix use their greenhouses for dinner parties. ## Importance of Lighting Lighting plays a crucial role in greenhouse decor. Decorative lighting like festoon lights creates warm evening ambiance. Experts recommend using accessories that match your indoor style, making the greenhouse feel like a natural extension of your home. ## Using Color and Texture Bold accessories like striped plates add energy to greenhouse spaces. Professionals advise against worrying about perfect coordination. Small details like adorable pot hangers can add magical touches to plant displays. ## Comfort-Focused Design Francesca McEvoy suggests focusing on how you want to feel in your greenhouse. Adding comfortable chairs for tea time or colorful pots can enhance enjoyment. Allowing greenhouses to evolve naturally over time creates the most appealing garden spaces. ## Decor Product Recommendations Bold patterned items like Anthropologie's Marley Appetiser Plates add vibrancy. Details like Dunelm's tortoise-shaped pot hangers introduce playful elements. Habitat's festoon lights create enchanting evening atmospheres in greenhouses. ## Greenhouse Transformation Potential Experts highlight greenhouses' versatility beyond plant cultivation. Proper decoration can turn them into living spaces that bridge indoor and outdoor areas. This transformation offers new opportunities for personal expression while creating harmonious connections between home and garden. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.idealhome.co.uk/garden/outdoor-living/dawn-french-decorated-greenhouse — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
