This model was named 'the best TV for most people' by TechRadar in 2026. The sale includes free delivery and room setup, available to all customers regardless of Prime membership status. The deal represents one of the most significant price cuts ever seen on a high-end OLED television. ## Cutting-Edge Display Technology The LG C6 OLED TV boasts over 8 million self-lit pixels delivering perfect blacks and infinite contrast. Powered by LG's Alpha a11 Gen 3 AI processor, it upscales content in real time with remarkable clarity. The display supports Filmmaker Mode, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos for cinematic experiences. With a 165Hz refresh rate and 0.1ms response time, it's also an exceptional gaming monitor. ## Gamer-Friendly Features The C6 Series includes NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility and four HDMI 2.1 ports for next-gen consoles. Its ultra-low input lag and high refresh rate make it ideal for competitive gaming. The TV's OLED technology eliminates motion blur completely, offering smoother gameplay than conventional LED TVs. These features combined create one of the best gaming displays available in the consumer market. ## Complete Size Options Available While the 65-inch model offers the best value, Amazon is discounting the entire C6 lineup. The 77-inch model drops from $3,699.99 to $2,499.99, and the massive 83-inch version sees a $1,300 reduction to $3,999.99. Smaller 42-inch to 55-inch models are also discounted, though the savings are less dramatic. The sale provides options for various room sizes and viewing preferences. ## Why OLED Dominates Picture Quality OLED technology enables each pixel to emit its own light, achieving perfect black levels and infinite contrast ratios. This results in more realistic colors and superior HDR performance compared to LED/LCD TVs. The C6's self-lighting pixels also provide wider viewing angles without color degradation. These advantages make OLED the gold standard for home theater enthusiasts. ## Smart TV Capabilities Beyond its stellar picture quality, the C6 runs LG's webOS platform with access to all major streaming services. The AI processor enhances both native and streamed content automatically. Voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is built-in for convenient operation. The TV also supports Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit for seamless Apple ecosystem integration. ## Timing Considerations While Labor Day offers the best deal on larger models, smaller sizes may see better discounts during Amazon's October Prime Day. The 65-inch and larger C6 models currently represent the most significant savings at 44% off. Consumers should note that OLED inventory often sells out quickly during major sales events, making early purchase advisable. ## Market Impact of the Sale This aggressive pricing strategy from Amazon and LG could pressure competitors to match discounts, potentially starting a price war in the premium TV segment. The sale makes high-end OLED technology more accessible to mainstream consumers. Such deep discounts on current-year models are rare in the television industry, indicating possible inventory clearance before new model releases. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.androidcentral.com/streaming-tv/unbelievable-amazons-labor-day-sale-is-slashing-44-percent-off-the-years-best-lg-oled-tv — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
