Wallen's conservative fanbase and Hughes' connections to Trump have fueled speculation. The singer indirectly addressed these claims by referencing her support for LGBTQ+ and women's rights organizations rather than issuing a clear denial. ## Fallout from Ambiguous Statements McRae's refusal to explicitly deny MAGA associations in her Variety interview sparked significant backlash on social media.
