It aims to be an alternative to Slack and GitHub by enabling teams and AI assistants to work in the same environment. Its open-source and decentralized structure stands out. ## Integrated with AI agents Buzz allows users to integrate AI assistants directly into the chat environment. This feature provides significant convenience for AI-powered startups. The platform also offers GitHub project management from a single window. ## Open-source advantage Buzz being open-source gives developers the ability to customize the platform for their needs. Teams can add missing features themselves. This flexibility makes it easier for the platform to adapt to different workflows. ## Competition heats up Dorsey isn't the only entrepreneur in the AI-powered collaboration space. Paradigm's CTO Georgios Konstantopoulos also unveiled Centaur, a similar open-source project. These platforms are pushing the boundaries of traditional solutions. ## Early stage warning Buzz clarifies it's currently in early stages. While free desktop apps are available for macOS, Windows and Linux, teams are advised to wait for the platform to mature before full migration. The code is shared on GitHub. ## Transforming business Buzz and similar platforms represent a significant step in integrating AI agents into workflows.
