Its two lenses resemble human eyes, offering both wide-angle and telephoto capabilities to cover large areas while capturing details. ## Visual Confirmation Mechanism Users can press a button on the camera app to 'close' the camera's 'eyes.' The camera tilts its head down, providing visual confirmation that recording has stopped, offering an extra layer of reassurance. ## Manual Control Option The camera's head can also be manually moved to the closed position. This gives users full control over the camera, allowing them to protect their privacy whenever they choose. ## Local Data Storage This Xiaomi camera stores data locally instead of in the cloud. This enhances data security and reduces the risk of personal data falling into the wrong hands. ## Motion Tracking Feature The camera can automatically pan and tilt to track movement. This allows for monitoring a wide area with a single camera while keeping a close eye on moving objects or individuals. ## Exclusive to Chinese Market Currently available only in China, this camera stands out with its privacy-focused design. It has the potential to set a new standard in home security systems. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.core77.com/posts/144821/A-Security-Camera-Designed-to-Indicate-When-Its-Not-Watching-You — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
