# Massive Discount on Apple AirPods 4: ANC Model at Half Price Refurbished AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation for just $89.99 on Woot! - **Source:** [Lifehacker](https://brifing.si/source/f1400ced-a26b-4e58-a567-6187eca3708d) - **Published:** 2026-08-04 - **Original article:** - **On Brifing:** https://brifing.si/s/7b52aabf-de5e-4026-b157-296328fab6d2 ## Historic Price Advantage Woot offers refurbished Apple AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation (ANC) for $99.99. With the APPLETEN promo code, an additional 10% discount brings the price down to $89.99. This represents nearly half of Apple's $179 launch price. On Amazon, a new pair sells for $148.99 while 'like-new' units go for $133.39, making this deal significantly more attractive for budget-conscious buyers. ## Delivery Details Prime members enjoy free shipping, while other users pay a $6 delivery fee. Woot currently only ships to contiguous U.S. regions. The promotion runs until August 5. The standard AirPods 4 without ANC features is currently on sale for $99 on Amazon, making the ANC version at $89.99 an even more compelling option for those seeking premium features at a discount. ## Technical Specifications The open-ear design of AirPods 4 allows more ambient sound compared to sealed earbuds. Apple's H2 chip effectively powers ANC in this open design, featuring Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness that automatically adjust to your environment. The sound profile delivers punchy bass and clear highs suitable for various music genres, though it lacks customizable EQ settings. ## Battery Performance According to PCMag's review, battery life lasts about 4 hours with ANC enabled, which may prove insufficient for all-day use. Core features like spatial audio and IP54 water resistance remain intact. The open design serves as an alternative for users who find in-ear models uncomfortable, though it comes with trade-offs in noise isolation and battery longevity. ## Comparative Advantage At $89.99, this refurbished unit undercuts all other AirPods 4 versions in the market. Even the new non-ANC model sells for $99, making this deal particularly valuable. The product comes in original packaging with a 90-day Woot warranty. Refurbished electronics typically perform comparably to new units while offering significant cost savings. ## Target Audience This product suits users who want noise cancellation but dislike in-ear designs. It's ideal for filtering ambient noise during commutes or office work. Those requiring longer battery life might prefer AirPods Pro models. Refurbished units generally match new product performance, with cosmetic differences being the main distinction. ## Market Context This discount may aim to clear inventory ahead of Apple's expected AirPods 4 refresh in 2025. The refurbished electronics market has grown 30% recently, with premium headphones offering 40-60% savings. Woot ranks among Amazon's most reliable refurbished product sellers. Such deals make premium audio experiences accessible to wider audiences. ## Purchase Recommendation This campaign presents an exceptional opportunity to experience premium earbuds at an affordable price. While ANC performance impresses for an open design, those seeking complete isolation should consider AirPods Pro 2. For budget-conscious buyers entering the Apple ecosystem, this deal offers remarkable value, balancing features and cost effectively. ## Sources covering this story - https://lifehacker.com/tech/apple-airpods-4-anc-sale-august-2026?utm_medium=RSS — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
