The retailer has marked down laptops, headphones, TVs, and streaming devices, with some deals reaching 50% off. This year's discounts are particularly valuable as component shortages have made tech more expensive overall. Shoppers can save hundreds on premium brands like Apple, Sony, and Lenovo. ## Top Laptop Deals The 2025 Apple MacBook Air M5 leads laptop deals at $1,699 ($100 off), featuring a 10-core CPU/GPU and 18-hour battery. Lenovo's Yoga 7i 2-in-1 touchscreen is $749.99 ($370 off), while the gaming-focused LOQ 15 with RTX 5060 graphics is $1,149.99 ($700 off). Acer's Chromebook Plus Spin 514 offers mid-range savings at $579 ($170 off). These markdowns come as laptop prices have risen 15-20% due to the memory shortage, making these some of 2026's best tech bargains. ## Headphone Discounts Sony's WH-1000XM5 noise-canceling headphones are half off at $198 (originally $399.99), their lowest price ever despite being last-gen. The newer XM6 model is $399.99 ($60 off). Other audio deals include Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 for $214.99 ($85 off) and Apple's AirPods Max 2 at $479 ($70 off). Lifehacker notes the XM5s still outperform most 2026 models in sound quality, making their 50% discount exceptional for premium audio enthusiasts. ## TV Bargains Highlight Hisense's 65-inch U7SG QLED TV leads TV deals at $899.99 ($600 off), featuring 4K, Dolby Vision, and 144Hz gaming. The March 2026-released model includes Fire TV OS. Smaller options include a 58-inch Hi-QLED for $189.99 ($210 off) and Samsung's 55-inch M70H Mini LED at $349.99 ($100 off). LG's 55-inch QNED TV is $379.99 ($220 off). These markdowns reflect 2026's TV price drops as manufacturers clear inventory before holiday season launches. ## Apple Ecosystem Savings Beyond MacBooks, Apple deals include the Pencil Pro at $99 ($30 off), AirTag 4-pack for $89 ($10 off), and iPad Air 11-inch (M4) at $649 ($100 off). The USB-C AirPods Max 2 are $479 ($70 off), while the iPad Mini (A17 Pro) is $579 ($20 off). Mashable highlights the MacBook Neo (A18 Pro) as an editor's pick, though its price isn't listed. These discounts are rare for Apple products, which typically see smaller holiday price cuts. ## Gaming & Streaming The Lenovo LOQ 15 gaming laptop with RTX 5060 graphics is $1,149.99 ($700 off), while Amazon's Fire TV Stick HD is just $17.99 ($22 off). Hisense's gaming-ready U7SG TV includes FreeSync Premium Pro. With streaming device prices up 25% due to chip shortages, these deals offer relief. The Fire TV Stick discount is especially notable—its 2026 MSRP rose to $39.99 due to supply chain issues, making this 55% markdown exceptional. ## Market Context The 2026 tech sales landscape is shaped by a prolonged memory shortage, with DRAM prices up 35% year-over-year. This has inflated laptop and tablet costs, making Labor Day discounts more impactful than usual. Retailers are also clearing 2025 inventory ahead of Q4 launches. Best Buy's aggressive pricing—like the $700 off Lenovo LOQ—reflects both holiday strategy and efforts to offset consumer reluctance amid higher baseline prices. ## Shopping Strategy Experts recommend prioritizing laptops and headphones, where shortages have caused the steepest price hikes. The MacBook Air M5 and Sony XM5 deals offer rare value on current-gen tech. TV shoppers should consider the Hisense U7SG for future-proof features or budget options like the $189.99 58-inch QD50. With sales ending September 7, acting quickly is advised—especially on limited-quantity items like the $198 XM5 headphones. ## Sources covering this story - [Mashable — Best Buy's Labor Day 2026 Sale: Top Deals on Tech Gadgets](https://mashable.com/tech/best-labor-day-best-buy-deals-2026) - [Lifehacker — Best Buy'ın Erken İşçi Bayramı İndirimlerinde Öne Çıkanlar](https://lifehacker.com/tech/best-deals-from-best-buys-early-labor-day-sale-2026?utm_medium=RSS) --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
