Microsoft Brings Xbox Games to PC
Classic Xbox games are now playable on PC.
1Xbox Games Coming to PC
Microsoft announced Xbox Backward Compatibility, a new preservation program that allows classic Xbox games to be played on Windows PCs and handheld devices like the ROG Xbox Ally.
2Four Games Initially
The program includes four classic games: BLiNX: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy. These games are now available for purchase on PC and are included in all Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.
3Xbox Play Anywhere Support
Users who already own these games digitally on console can now play them on PC or handheld devices thanks to Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming support.
4Physical Copies Not Supported
The program currently only supports digital copies. Users with physical copies will not be able to play these games on PC. Microsoft has been working on digitizing physical games since the Xbox One era.
5Enhanced Graphics Features
Xbox has added custom graphics settings to these games, allowing users to personalize their experience with features like resolution scaling, VSync support, fullscreen and windowed modes.
6Achievements Coming Soon
Microsoft announced that achievements will be added to select classic Xbox games, enhancing the interactive experience for both console and PC players.
