Original Xbox Games Coming to PC
Four classic titles now playable on desktops and handhelds.
1Classics on PC
Microsoft is bringing four classic Xbox games to PC. Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy will now be playable on computers. These games will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
2Enhanced Experience
Improvements have been made to the graphics settings for these 20-year-old games. Options include 4K resolution, VSync support, and many other customizations. Games purchased via Xbox Play Anywhere can be played on both console and PC.
3System Requirements
Minimum system requirements to play the games: Nvidia GTX 950 or AMD Radeon RX 550 GPU, 4-core processor, and 8GB RAM. Higher performance is expected on recommended systems.
4Game Preservation
Microsoft presents this program as part of its game preservation efforts. The decline of physical media and the risk of digital games disappearing remain concerns for gamers.
5Pricing and Access
Each game can be purchased for $10 from the Xbox Store. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access these games for free. The titles will also be available for streaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
6Future Plans
Microsoft plans to bring more classic Xbox games to PC, starting with these four titles. New features like Xbox Achievements will be added in future updates.
