The Ultra model was rumored to feature only three cameras. However, new developments indicate these plans might change. ## Renders and Speculation Leaked renders showed a Galaxy S27 Ultra design with a horizontal camera layout. While tech enthusiasts debated this radical change, a new source from Korea claims all these designs are incorrect, adding fuel to the ongoing speculation. ## Samsung's Indecision The company reportedly hasn't made a final decision yet and is evaluating multiple design options. Sources state the simple horizontal layout is rejected, but more complex horizontal designs are being considered. This uncertainty shapes consumer expectations. ## Possibility of Keeping Current Design The most striking claim suggests Samsung might retain the current vertical camera island design. By removing just one camera, the phone could resemble the Galaxy S26 and S26+ more closely. This raises questions about the Ultra series' distinctive features. ## Early Stage Warning It's important to remember the phones are in very early development stages. There's no concrete evidence to confirm these rumors. Samsung's final decision will become clearer as production progresses. ## What It Means for Consumers During this period of uncertainty, consumers should approach rumors with caution. Samsung's past product strategies show a focus on gradual improvements rather than design revolutions. Will the Galaxy S27 Ultra's final design break this tradition? ## Sources covering this story - https://www.gsmarena.com/the_biggest_change_rumored_for_the_samsung_galaxy_s27_ultra_may_not_be_happening-news-73722.php — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
