One of them is a special setting that increases output power for Bluetooth devices. This feature isn't visible in standard settings but is surprisingly easy to access. ## Why Hidden? Google hid this setting because overuse can quickly drain device battery and may cause audio distortion in some headphones. However, with quality Bluetooth devices, this setting can be safely used and provides noticeable volume boost, especially outdoors. ## Access Method To access the setting, you first need to enable developer options. Go to 'Settings > About phone' and tap 'Build number' seven times in software information. Then in developer options, turn on the 'Absolute Volume' setting for immediate effect. ## Optimizing Settings For maximum benefit from the volume boost, check your Bluetooth codec settings too. Selecting high-quality codecs like AptX or LDAC can provide better experience. Also ensure your device's Bluetooth version is up to date for optimal performance. ## Potential Issues In some cases, this setting may cause audio distortion or connection problems. If this happens, try turning off the setting and reconnecting your headphones. If issues persist, consult your device manufacturer's support page for specific troubleshooting. ## Enhance Your Audio This small but effective setting can be a lifesaver when listening to music or podcasts in noisy environments. Hidden features like this help us maximize the potential of our devices and improve our daily tech experiences significantly. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.talkandroid.com/527943-the-hidden-android-setting-that-instantly-boosts-your-bluetooth-headphone-volumeheres-how-to-unlock-it-87321/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
