The EV3 offers up to 321 miles of all-electric range and is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The car is nearly the same size as Kia's Niro crossover and features design elements from the EV9. Like other modern EVs, the EV3 comes with an NACS port compatible with Tesla's Supercharger network.

Kia states that the EV3 can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 31 minutes using a 350kW DC fast charger. This feature enhances the practicality of electric vehicles for long-distance travel and offers a significant advantage to users.
