1Contest Purpose
PyTorch Foundation is seeking a unique pin design for the 2026 PyTorch Conference North America. Participants can submit original designs for a chance to win a complimentary conference ticket. The winning design will be produced as a 1-inch die-cut soft enamel pin and distributed at the event. The submission deadline is August 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.
2Design Requirements
Entries must be original and suitable for a 1-inch die-cut soft enamel pin. Designs must include the official PyTorch Foundation symbol and '26' or '2026'. Final submissions should be in SVG, PNG, or PDF format. Designs can use any shape, typeface, and color palette appropriate for a professional community event. Official brand assets must remain intact and legible.
3Submission Process
Participants can enter by posting their designs on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, or Bluesky with #PyTorchPin and #PyTorchCon hashtags. Posts must remain public until the winner is announced. Those unable to use social media can email submissions to [email protected] with the subject '2026 PyTorch Pin Design Submission'. AI-assisted or AI-generated designs are permitted.
4Selection Criteria
The PyTorch Foundation Marketing Committee will select the winner based on originality, legibility at 1 inch, use of required symbols and year, brand compliance, and production suitability. The winner will be notified on August 19, 2026, and must submit final artwork by August 24. The committee's decision is final, and no winner may be selected if no eligible entries meet requirements.
5Design Rights
Participants retain ownership of their designs but grant PyTorch Foundation a nonexclusive license to reproduce, publish, and promote submissions for contest purposes. For the winning design, this includes adaptation, production, and distribution of the pin. Participants are not authorized to manufacture or sell PyTorch Foundation-branded merchandise based on their submissions.
6Prize Details
The winning designer will receive one complimentary ticket to PyTorch Conference North America in San Jose, CA. The ticket is non-transferable and covers conference admission only. Travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses are not included. Eligible community members may separately apply for The Linux Foundation Travel Fund, with applications closing August 23, 2026.
7Contest Rules
Designs must be shown clearly without cropping, watermarks, or mockup effects that obscure the artwork. Additional mockups are allowed. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have rights to all design elements. Entries containing unauthorized third-party trademarks, copyrighted material, or inappropriate content are ineligible. Joint or group entries are not permitted.
