This feature works with newer iPhone models that have a USB-C port. Simply connect the AirPods case to your iPhone using the right cable to start charging. ## Charging Apple Watch You can also use your iPhone to charge your Apple Watch. However, this process is a bit more complex as you need a special cable for the Apple Watch. Products like the Satechi USB-C Magnetic Charging Dock make this process easy. ## Charging Another iPhone with iPhone With iPhone 15 or newer models, you can charge another iPhone. Connect the two devices using a USB-C cable to start the charging process. This feature is particularly useful in emergencies. ## Charging Efficiency The charging process is not 100% efficient. For example, while one iPhone's battery drops by 24%, the other iPhone's battery only increases by 19%. Therefore, it's important to use this feature carefully. ## Passthrough Charging Feature You can charge AirPods, Apple Watch, or another iPhone by connecting your iPhone to a wireless charger. This method allows you to charge other devices without draining your iPhone's battery. ## Practical and Convenient Your iPhone's charging feature is particularly useful during travel or emergencies. With the right cables and equipment, you can maximize the efficiency of this feature. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.cultofmac.com/how-to/charge-airpods-with-iphone — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
