This marks the final day customers can access this decade-long perk. The service has been a valued convenience for T-Mobile subscribers traveling on select airlines. ## Where It Remains Available While T-Mobile's free in-flight WiFi continues on some partner airlines, major carriers like United and American have exited the program. This shift reflects airlines' strategies to develop their own internet services rather than relying on telecom partnerships. ## United's New Partnership United Airlines terminated its deal with T-Mobile in April, opting instead for a partnership with Starlink. This move supports United's goal to offer free, high-speed internet on all flights by 2027 using Starlink's satellite technology. ## Transition for Customers T-Mobile customers will need to purchase United's WiFi packages going forward. While this change may mean additional costs for frequent flyers, T-Mobile's WiFi benefits remain available on other partner airlines for now. ## Industry Trend The race to provide free in-flight WiFi is intensifying among airlines. United's Starlink deal and Delta's Viasat partnership signal this competitive trend. For consumers, these developments promise better quality internet during flights in the long run. ## Don't Miss the Deadline Tomorrow is the last chance for T-Mobile customers flying United to enjoy free WiFi. This change represents a significant shift that could impact travel habits and costs. Travelers should consider this cutoff date when making plans. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.androidauthority.com/tmobile-free-wifi-ends-on-united-flights-3686655/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
