Her primary goal is to provide free books to children in areas with limited access to literature. Through innovative methods like book vending machines, park events, and community gatherings, she spreads reading culture. ## A movement for social change This initiative doesn't just distribute books but creates a social movement. By involving local communities, it aims to build collective awareness about literacy and education. ## Call for individual participation Maze emphasizes that anyone can start similar projects in their community. In her TED talk, she shares practical steps to become a 'radical street librarian' and encourages small-scale initiatives. ## Sustainable impact This project offers a tangible model for combating educational inequality. It serves as an inspiring example not just for the US but for communities worldwide facing similar challenges. ## Sources covering this story - http://go.ted.com/storybookmaze?rss — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
