He noted that the final 45 minutes of the match were particularly difficult to watch from the sidelines. Despite the tension, he praised the team for their collective effort in securing the win.
3Strategic Pre-season Preparation
Anirudh credited the Hyderabad Cricket Association and director Ambati Rayudu for the team's recent success. The organization prioritized hosting numerous pre-season matches to provide players with essential experience. Furthermore, the coaching staff implemented a deliberate strategy to prepare result-oriented pitches for home games, directly addressing performance drawbacks from previous competitive seasons.

He noted that while the mood was initially sombre, he actively worked to lift the spirits of his players. He believes that supporting the team after a loss is a fundamental responsibility for any professional head coach.
6Focus on Team Development
The selection process for Hyderabad was highlighted as a key factor in their current form. 7Tournament Context and Stakes
The Ranji Trophy remains a premier domestic cricket competition in India, where every match outcome significantly impacts the knockout qualification path. Consistency in these remaining matches will be essential for their progression to the next stage.
