How to Get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for Free with These Deals
AT&T and T-Mobile offer free Z Fold 8 with new line activation and eligible trade-ins.
1Z Fold 8 Launch and Promotional Offers
Samsung's new foldable flagship, the Z Fold 8, hits stores on August 7th. AT&T and T-Mobile are offering up to $1,900 in credits for customers who activate a new line and trade in eligible devices, making this premium phone completely free for qualifying users under specific plan requirements.
2T-Mobile's Experience Beyond Plan Benefits
T-Mobile's top-tier Experience Beyond plan provides full $1,900 credit for Galaxy S23 series trade-ins, covering the entire Z Fold 8 cost. The plan includes premium data, international roaming, and free streaming. Lower-tier plans like Go5G Next also offer significant discounts for budget-conscious consumers.
3AT&T's Premium Plan Exclusive
AT&T requires new line activation on Premium 2.0/Elite 2.0 plans combined with trade-ins (S24 Ultra qualifies for max credit) to make the Z Fold 8 free. Older devices still fetch up to $1,000 credit. Customers can bundle with Galaxy Watch 9 preorders at just $1.99/month for added value.
4Z Fold 8's Cutting-Edge Features
The passport-style Z Fold 8 boasts a Snapdragon chipset, 4,800mAh battery, and crease-minimized AMOLED display. With Galaxy AI tools, pro-grade cameras, and 7-year software support, it justifies its $1,900 price tag for the 256GB model, making free deals exceptionally valuable.
5Deal Fine Print and Eligibility
Both carriers mandate new line activations with specific unlimited plans. T-Mobile accepts devices as old as S20 series ($1,100 credit), while AT&T's maximum credit requires newer models. Plan selection directly impacts savings potential, with premium packages offering full device coverage.
6Smart Consumer Considerations
Consumers should evaluate current carrier contracts and device eligibility. S23/S24 owners can upgrade to Z Fold 8 at zero cost, but must commit to higher-tier plans. These limited-time preorder offers present unique opportunities to experience cutting-edge foldable technology without the premium price barrier.
