HTX Reports Q3 2026 Metrics as TradFi Volume Approaches $6 Billion
Exchange expands stock perpetual futures, Earn integrations, and global regulatory licensing milestones.
1Q3 Performance and Anniversary Campaign
HTX marked its 13th anniversary during the third quarter of 2026 amid a broader crypto market rally. The exchange ran celebratory promotions across spot, futures, Earn, and lending services. Its flagship Trading Championship attracted 45,000 participants and produced 6.8 billion USDT in total futures volume.
2Futures Copy Trading Growth
Derivatives trading on the platform saw sustained expansion throughout the quarter. Futures copy trading volume grew 21% quarter over quarter. Meanwhile, spot promotions encompassed 14 themed campaigns that drew over 46,000 registrations and generated more than 500 million USDT in combined trading volume across those events.
3Surging TradFi Product Volume
Cumulative TradFi trading volume on HTX approached $6 billion by the end of the quarter. Trading in traditional asset derivatives generated $4.1 billion in Q3 alone, more than doubling the cumulative volume recorded from the previous quarter as multi-market exposure gained substantial user traction.
4Asset Expansion Across Global Equities
HTX listed 183 new futures assets in Q3, including 154 stock and index products. The platform now hosts 278 tradable equity assets. Offerings focus on AI hardware, semiconductor computing, global e-commerce, Asia-Pacific market leaders, pre-IPO unicorns like Polymarket and Oura, and high-dividend blue-chip stocks.
5Upgraded Trading Mechanics for Equities
To enhance equity derivative trading, HTX implemented a dividend settlement mechanism for stock perpetual futures. This structure adjusts position values continuously during ex-dividend dates to mitigate price distortions. The platform also added dedicated asset discovery rankings and company profile data alongside upgraded net fee tiers.
6Earn Products and Yield Real-Time Sync
HTX Earn transitioned its new-token rollout schedule from weekly batches to real-time synchronization with new listings. Nearly 500,000 users subscribed to Earn products during the quarter, totaling roughly 1 billion USDT. SVIP Flexible Earn added Bitcoin and Ethereum to accommodate large-scale asset holders.
7Lending Enhancements and Risk Controls
The platform introduced SmartEarn APY boosts ranging from 4% up to 9% based on trading volume thresholds. Convert added 21 assets, including Tether Gold as its initial precious metal. Furthermore, HTX launched trailing stop and MMR take-profit and stop-loss orders to help leveraged traders manage risk.
8Regulatory Approvals in Key Markets
Global compliance efforts advanced with Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority granting preliminary approval for HTX's applicant entity. In Pakistan, HTX continued its formal licensing process building on a previously acquired No Objection Certificate from the local regulatory authority as new virtual asset rules took effect.
9Token Burns and Developer Ecosystem
HTX DAO continued its deflationary strategy following a Q2 token burn valued at over $13.6 million, reaching 117.79 trillion cumulative burned tokens. The Q3 burn is scheduled for October 15. The Genesis Hackathon engaged over 200 teams exploring AI agent finance and DAO infrastructure.
10Convergence of Traditional and Digital Assets
At TOKEN2049 in Singapore, HTX adviser Justin Sun outlined market convergence between traditional financial instruments and digital assets. Sun highlighted the expansion of stablecoin settlements, tokenized real-world assets like bonds and gold, and the integration of artificial intelligence with digital wealth storage as long-term macro trends.
