The new design simplifies account management and improves access to ecosystem tools. This step underscores the project's user-centric approach. ## Technical Improvements with Protocol v25 Protocol v25 brings critical updates including network stability and privacy-focused smart contracts. These changes play a key role in Pi's evolution from a simple mobile mining experiment to a mature blockchain project. ## Increasing Mining Difficulty Pi's mobile mining feature allows users to earn tokens by tapping a button once daily. However, as network participation grows, mining difficulty increases. The new protocol update aims to fine-tune this balance. ## Token Supply and Price Pressure One of Pi's biggest challenges remains its high circulating token supply. With approximately 4.25 million PI unlocking daily, this constant supply influx creates price pressure by quickly absorbing demand. ## Price Action and Expectations PI Coin recently rebounded after hitting lows near $0.071, but remains far below its early 2025 peak of $2.99. Sustainable growth will require stronger use cases and adoption on the mainnet. ## Pi Network's Future Protocol v25 and the app refresh send positive signals about Pi Network's development. However, the project's success will depend on managing token supply and increasing real-world utility alongside technical improvements. ## Sources covering this story - https://dailycoin.com/pi-tacks-on-stellar-vibes-as-protocol-v25-lands/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
