The show continues its 52nd season schedule following the recent Halloween broadcast. Viewers can tune in at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC, while those in Central and Pacific time zones should adjust their local clocks accordingly. ## Host Selection Details Comedian and social media star Druski takes the stage as tonight's host. This appearance follows the recent announcement of his partnership with Netflix for a new series based on his popular sketch, Collect Praise. Fans anticipate he will incorporate his signature character work into the live sketches throughout the evening. ## Musical Guest Performance The rock band The Strokes serves as the musical guest for this week's episode. Their performance follows the July 2026 release of their seventh studio album, Reality Awaits. With a world tour scheduled to begin soon, this appearance provides significant exposure for the band as they promote their latest musical project. ## Political Context Expectations Given that the midterm elections occurred within the past week, producers may integrate political commentary into the show's cold open or Weekend Update segments. The series frequently utilizes current events to shape its satirical content, making it likely that the writers will address the recent national political atmosphere during tonight's broadcast. ## Streaming and Viewing Options Beyond the traditional NBC broadcast, audiences can access the episode through live streaming on Peacock. For those unable to watch the live airing, full episodes become available on the platform starting Sunday. Additionally, individual clips from the sketches and musical performances will be uploaded to the official YouTube channel on Sunday. ## Recent Season Developments The 52nd season recently featured up-and-coming star Inde Navarrette as host, with Gracie Abrams performing as the musical guest. Navarrette's monologue referenced her horror film Obsession and addressed previous controversies involving Shane Gillis. This transition signals the show's ongoing effort to maintain momentum while introducing new talent to the long-running series. ## Future Episode Schedule Looking ahead, the show plans to bring back veteran favorite John Mulaney as host. Mulaney, who began his career as an SNL writer, has hosted six times since his 2013 departure. Phoebe Bridgers will join him as the musical guest, marking her third appearance on the program following her solo and Boygenius performances. ## Legacy and Format Continuity Saturday Night Live maintains its status as a staple of late-night television by balancing established guest stars with emerging digital creators. By blending traditional broadcast models with streaming accessibility on Peacock and YouTube, the show adapts to modern viewing habits while preserving the live sketch comedy format that defines its historical legacy. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.tvline.com/2306515/is-snl-new-tonight-november-7-2026-host-musical-guest-watch-details/ — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
