The application illuminates nearby stars based on the spaceship's position and influences the music. Clicking on a star creates a unique musical mashup blending nearby genres. Every movement dynamically alters the music, offering a responsive audio experience.

Similar music genres are positioned close together in 3D space. The 'High-Dimensional Neighbors' feature reveals genres that are semantically similar in the original embedding space, even if they aren't visual neighbors in the projection. This uncovers unexpected musical connections.
4Autopilot Mode
Enable random drift mode to wander through space and experience an ever-changing musical landscape. This passive exploration mode allows users to enjoy a continuously evolving generative soundscape without active navigation.
5Underlying Technology
Space DJ converts music genres into numerical representations using the MagentaRT model. The UMAP algorithm projects this data into 3D space. three.js provides an interactive interface, while the Lyria RealTime API instantly translates user movements into music.
