The Light Flip stands out with its distraction-free design and simple usage. Particularly, young users prefer this device to avoid smartphones. ## Design and Features The Light Flip features a 2.8-inch screen and a non-touch interface. The bottom half includes a standard keypad and function buttons. Powered by a MediaTek MT8873 processor, 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM, the phone also offers basic features like USB-C and a headphone jack. ## User Demands Kaiwei Tang, co-founder of Light, notes that user feedback increased the demand for a flip phone. Users want to stay away from smartphones and opt for a simpler device. The Light Flip was designed in response to these demands. ## Price and Accessibility The Light Flip is priced at $299, making it more accessible. Additionally, users can opt for a monthly payment of $39 connected to Light’s cellular service. After 24 months, the phone becomes fully owned by the user. This pricing is more affordable compared to previous models. ## Software and Flexibility The Light Flip runs on the same LightOS as the Light Phone III. It lacks tap-to-pay due to the absence of NFC.
